Kristy Grant
Chief Executive Officer & Co-owner
Kristy is a highly innovative and experienced business woman who has a wealth of knowledge in the establishment of organisations to build the future sustainability of the New Zealand creative sector through the development of infrastructure. Kristy worked alongside Wētā Co-Founder and Oscar winner Jamie Selkirk for several years, collaborating on many creative infrastructure build projects including the Miramar Creative Centre in partnership with Victoria University of Wellington.
Kristy also brings over 20 years of executive business experience and has a background in international marketing and trade development - skills which are pivotal in ensuring the overall success of Lane Street Studios, both locally within NZ and in our critical international markets.
Most recently, Kristy was recognised as a finalist for Wellingtonian of the Year 2023 within the Business category and as a finalist the ExportNZ ASB Wellington Export Awards 2024.
Pippa Drakeford
Executive Manager
Pippa Drakeford is an experienced and highly motivated executive who has worked within the New Zealand creative industry for over 14 years.
Starting out and securing awards in acting and as a musician, Pippa has been an active and passionate champion for creative talent. Pippa has worked in a varied range of roles ranging from production management, operations, producing, IT, marketing, communications, fundraising, education and more. Her wide set of skills and disciplines brings a breadth of knowledge to the Studios.
Based in the UK, Pippa supports the team remotely.
Rachelle Andrews
Finance Supervisor
Rachelle Andrews has worked within the Wellington film industry for over 16 years. She first worked for Park Road Post Production Limited before working for the wider Wingnut Group finance team. Rachelle works closely with the team part-time to manage the Lane Street Studios accounts.
Rachelle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to support the sustainability of the Studios.
